The 2010 AGM took place last night - Thursday 27 May and the
committee elections and re-elections were all carried
unopposed.

Outgoing Chairman, Chris Davies was thanked by all for
his contribution to the club over the the term of his
three years as Chair and Peter Friedmann was welcomed as
new Club Chairman. Chris will remain on the management
committee and will continue to help with the indoor court project
which he has been closely involved in since taking over as Chair in
2007.

Peter will also retain his tennis chairman position for the time
being having just taken on that role in 2009.
Helen Lane has also joined the management committee having been
recently elected as the squash section chairman, Helen has been a
member for a number of years and has previously served on the
management committee.
Another member newly elected to the Management Committee was
Pete Sly. Pete is a long time member of the club and has been
Club tennis captain for a number of years.
The proposed motion regarding changes to the Club
rules that would give more formal recognition to the
Bridge section were also passed unopposed.
