In order to reduce the need for detailed discussion on the
accounts at the AGM, The Honorary Treasurer, Chris Burman, will be
happy to meet any members who have questions on the 2009-10
accounts at a separate meeting. He will meet members at 7:30PM on
Wednesday 26th May (by appointment) in the clubhouse. If you would
like to take this opportunity to meet the treasurer, please confirm
your attendance through Billy Kerr at the club. The treasurer will
only attend if appointments are made by 10am on Wednesday 26th
May
Proposed Amendments to The Club Rules
Amendment 1
Existing Clause
2 GENERAL MEETINGS (and see byelaw 1)
(i) An Annual General Meeting shall be held on or before the 31st
May in every year for the election of the President, Officers and
Members to serve on the Management Committee, as provided by Rule 3
The President; The Treasurer; The Chairmen of the 4 Standing
Sub-Committees (Tennis, Squash & Racketball, Croquet and
Fitness); Five members of the Club who shall be eligible for
re-election to serve for a maximum term of three consecutive
years.

Bridge playing members, who shall collectively be called the
Bridge Section, may elect a subcommittee from their numbers who
shall be responsible for matters relating to play, organisation of
matches and/or tournaments and the use of equipment. Such
sub-committees must be so composed as to ensure fair representation
for all authorised bridge playing groups.
